Welcome to Barranrioch, a 200 acre stock farm, which we let for summer grazing of cattle and wintering of sheep. We are situated 2.5 miles inland from the busy seaside town of Oban. Set in peaceful, rural Glencruitten we are half way between Connel and Kilmore. An excellent place to stop before catching a ferry to the Western Isles.

Barranrioch Farm is owned by Anna Nicholson, a contract shepherd. Due to a busy work schedule, we sometimes have to offer you your cooked breakfast early in the morning or you can choose a DIY-breakfast (Do It Yourself) at your own time. In this case there will be a price reduction and of course you can decide to have a long lie. Otherwise a full Scottish breakfast is available.

We look forward to welcoming you to our farm where we have few house rules so hope you will feel at home. For instance it is not compulsory that you stay away all day, as long as we get a chance to clean your rooms you are welcome to stay around the house and garden and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
